way of commenting

Somehow the last few days I get comments in a way I don't really like. Of course people may like or dislike my submissions but I expect a little respect from both. Now check this out. I think this isn't a way to comment! http://pinchecl.wincustomize.com/viewskin.aspx?SID=4398&skinid=18112&libid=8&comments=1&UID=72493

RomanDA ....just email any of the site admins if there is a 'problem' comment and it and its poster will be dealt with....

Back in the day, there was always the posiblility of getting yourself beat down for disrespecting someone (not that that is the answer, but it did keep knuckleheads from being so rude all the time). Now, put someone behind the wheel of a car or a phone or a keyboard, and they are suddenly rude, crude, disrespectful and arrogant cause no one can touch em.

Just my 2 cents worth. It's up to the rest of us to season things positively. I am not always successful and give in to emotion sometimes, too. But I try to live by the words of the famous philosopher, Aretha Franklin, "R-E-S-P-E-C-T".

i didn't get to see the comments made to start this conversation but i did pick up on the jest of it... not everyone who does some type of art does not always make master pieces trial and error i guess play a major part in that... but there is no reason to destroy someones love of thier work no matter how distastfull another might find it. sucks that people have lost that consideration of politness for other fellow humans.. anyhow i think the werk i've seen by most everyone is good. hell just knowing how to do these type of things is one up on me and you all have my respect for that if nothing else. but my reason for posting is not to flame others ignorance, but to show my own...in your CP27 4WB skin you have weather date ram ect ect in the top right corner.. what are you using to do that? is it something that XP does or is it another program? BTW i am currently using that skin casue it fits my mood the best and you have kudo's from me for it thankee..and thanks in advance for the answer to my question

Tnx Minorgod for the kind words. The displaying of ram etc is done using sysmetrix, a marvelous freeware program by Xymantix ( Link ). That program is totally skinnable as you may discover browsing the available skins here at WC (as on many more sites). For the CP27 4WB you can use the matching CP23 4SMX with the transparent mode (contact me by email if you want to know how that is done )

I've noticed, also that a large amout of people that make the (bad) comments, never have thier email address showing.
Wonder why that is?

JourneyMan pinchecl Hello...although i dont really know you I have seen and admired your work. And for those unfortunately uneducated people who made the comments well you shouldht take it to heart. Unfortunatley in our society today respect is something in short supply. Keep up the good work.

Z71 ... as long as the admins know who to 'chat' to they don't need to publicly post their emails.

We manage to confide in them the error of their ways...
